Roxanne Rizzuto

Through Tutor Doctor, Roxanne is grateful that she can continue to facilitate the learning process for students by connecting them with a tutor who not only helps them improve their grades and confidence, but promotes future learning and thus lifelong success. As an experience teacher and tutor, Roxanne knows that the most effective tutoring happens one-on-one in the child's home.

Most recently, Roxanne recognized that parents had questions which she could not answer, questions which required expertise within a certain field. In response, Roxanne formed the Parents' Education Forum which is sponsored by Tutor Doctor. Seminars are free of charge to all who wish to attend. Through the Parents' Education Forum, parents have access to experts within Calgary who present on a variety of topics. Last spring's seminar series featured topics such as childhood defiance, psycho-educational assessments, post-secondary guidance, art therapy, childhood anxiety, mompreneurs, online safety for children, and childhood depression. In 2009, Roxanne was asked to become be a part of Education.com's JustAsk Expert Panel. As an Education.com Expert, Roxanne answers questions and offers advice to parents, teachers and students across North America and even internationally.
